Safer Travel
We look forward to welcoming you safely to the City With Soul!
Follow COVID-19 guidelines set forth by the City of Jackson when you are in town and stay informed of additional public health guidance on the state level, too.
As of March 4, 2022, Jackson Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba lifted a previously imposed facial covering mandate. That said, those with personal reasons to wear masks or who are considered immunocompromsied are still advised by the CDC to wear facial coverings.
Explore the City
Get outside and take in all JXN has to offer! That could look like one of these amazing activities like kayaking or strolling the Jackson Zoo. Or, chart your own course with public art in mind. Our Google art map shows you where to go. The Mississippi Museum of Art is noted there with many outdoor pieces in the museum's gardens. Park yourself at the urban oasis that is LeFleur's Bluff and embrace the natural beauty.
