Overview
Now in its 33rd year, the Lynch Street Cultural Arts Festival brings live music, local food vendors, a children's village, and a health fair to West Jackson for a full day of community celebration.
The festival is a vibrant community celebration honoring the rich cultural heritage, history, and spirit of Jackson’s Lynch Street corridor. This 2-day event brings together residents, families, alumni, and visitors for a dynamic experience featuring live entertainment, local and nationally renowned artists—including BRICK, Ms. Karen Brown, and Light of Entertainment—along with a variety of food vendors, educational exhibits, and community engagement activities.
The festival also features a Children’s Village filled with fun, family-friendly activities, as well as a Health Fair offering valuable health resources, screenings, and wellness information to the community. Highlighting the legacy of Lynch Street as a historic hub of culture, civil rights, and community pride, the festival creates opportunities for economic support, youth engagement, and cultural enrichment. Through music, art, and fellowship, the festival continues to unite generations and celebrate the City With Soul.
