Jackson Holiday Experience
Celebrate the season at the Jackson Holiday Experience, a citywide holiday celebration bringing together several of Jackson's most beloved traditions under one festive umbrella. For the first time, Visit Jackson, Downtown Jackson Partners, the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, and the City of Jackson have joined forces to create a coordinated holiday experience taking place on Saturday, December 5.
The Jackson Holiday Experience will feature four signature holiday events throughout the day:
- City of Jackson Holiday Parade
- Christmas by Candlelight Tours
- Capital City Lights
- City of Jackson Tree Lighting Ceremony
By combining these longstanding traditions into a single celebration, residents and visitors can enjoy a full day of holiday activities, entertainment, lights, history, and community spirit across downtown Jackson. Additional details, schedules, and participating locations will be announced as plans are finalized.
