January 12, 2011- Jackson Convention & Visitors Bureau Announces Restaurant Rave Winner

Jackson, Mississippi – A beautifully written restaurant review by Lauren Primeaux has landed her dinner for four at her favorite Jackson restaurant, Broad Street Baking Company & Cafe, as the winner of the Jackson Convention & Visitors Bureau’s (JCVB) Rave about Jackson Restaurants Contest .

The JCVB’s committee chose Primeaux’s review from a field of excellent entries.

Primeaux wrote: “During the cool weather days my favorite restaurant is Broad Street Baking Company & Cafe.  Nothing is better than having the Quiche of the Day with a cup of soup.  Sometimes I opt for the pasta salad as my side as their pasta salads are quite good.  The green salad with their house vinaigrette is also a favorite.  The crust of the quiche is always flakey and compliments the taste of the eggs, veggies, meats, and cheeses.  I just love it.  The Italian Cream Cake and the Apricot Bars are both wonderfully delicious favorites for dessert.  You can’t go wrong with Broad Street!”
