January 11, 2011- Mississippi Neurosurgical Society to Hold 2011 Conference in Jackson, Mississippi

Jackson, Mississippi — The Annual Mississippi Neurosurgical Society will host their 2011 Conference at the Hilton Jackson Hotel at 1001 East County Line Road in Jackson January 21 – 22, 2011. The Society encourages neurosurgeons, neuroscience nurses and other health-related professionals to sign up now for this statewide conference today.

“The scientific presentations this year promise to be very interesting, largely around spine topics,” says Dr. Gustavo Luzardo, Mississippi Neurosurgical Society Secretary/Treasurer. “There are a new number of neurosurgeons in Mississippi, so we hope that they will attend this educational conference.”

The purpose of the Mississippi Neurosurgical Society is to represent the specialty of neurosurgical surgery in Mississippi. The annual meeting will offer professionals continuing educational opportunities.

“We hope this conference will stimulate and promote a mutual fellowship among those engaged in the practice of neurosurgery,” said Dr. Luzardo. “We definitely want to encourage a close liaison and cooperation with individuals in related specialties and related scientific fields.”
