Mississippi Children’s Museum

Details:  Designing an exciting place where children are encouraged to use their creativity. 40,000 square foot museum will open in 2010 in Lefleur’s Bluff State Park. There will be a world at work exhibit teaching children about the industries found in Mississippi. A forestry section includes learning about measuring girth and height of trees, making paper from pulp, operating equipment to move logs, and taking home seedlings to plant in their neighborhood. A construction section offers education about all home construction materials and tools. Kids won’t even know they are learning.
