Robert Clark Symposium & Luncheon, hosted by the Margaret Walker Alexander National Research Center at Jackson State University
On Thursday, April 8, 2010, the Margaret Walker Alexander National Research Center at Jackson State will host its annual Robert Clark Symposium, featuring civil rights activists and scholars such as Mr. Hollis Watkins, Dr. Leslie McLemore, and Dr. Robert Pratt. This year’s event will be a free luncheon at 12:30 p.m., open to the public, in the Walter Payton Center, Studio A, on the JSU campus and will focus on The Sit-in Movement and Student Activism Fifty Years Later—the theme of the 4th Annual Creative Arts Festival, happening at the same time.
