Jackson is the capital of Mississippi. This modern city, containing many historic buildings and sites, is conveniently located at the crossroads of Interstate 55 (north-south) and Interstate 20 (east-west), near the center of the state and approximately one hour’s drive from the Mississippi River to the West. The beautiful Natchez Trace Parkway runs diagonally across the northern edge of the city and is easily accessible via I-55 North or I-20 West. Bordered by Ridgeland to the North, Pearl to the East, Byram to the South, and Clinton to the West, Jackson is the center of the Metro Jackson area, home to nearly 500,000 people.

From Interstate 55 North, take the Pearl Street exit (96A). Drive West on Pearl over the bridge and through the first intersection at Pearl and State Street (notice the Jackson event banners on the NW and SW corners of the intersection). Drive five more blocks to Farish Street; turn right and right again at the next block onto Capitol Street. The multi-storied office building on your right is the 111 East Capitol Building, and the JCVB office is the first office to the right of the front door on the first floor.
